(Clowns Are) Not Funny

On our walk back to Perth we took a turn at IGA in Mt Lawley to check out the lane with the murals we "hunted" last time.
On the way there we spotted a new wall with murals, amongst this clown.
Do you like clowns? I don't and what we found out wasn't funny, either.

So sad when jerks run loose.

She luckily was still there:

To you this is probably as a sight as a lemon tree..

For sure you will not find this in Germany. So, yep, a pic of it :-)

And this one threw me back to my early childhood days:

Golgath was the name of the lille shop, it had the same colors.
To the right you could buy groceries, fruit and veg.

To the left... fish.
My Granma used to buy fish there, you really got it wrapped up in news-paper.
On the ceiling was a slow ventilator, not bringing fresh air but getting the smell of fish everywhere.

My Dad and I weren't into fish (I tried fish & chips and was ok, so also a careful "was' for me), hence it was a lille pain going just near Golgath.

The shop is long gone, no idea what has replaced it.
That was the time even we didn't have ALDI! Oh, I'm old! ;-)

We went back to the city, guess what we had, right, we shared a burger at Grill'd. If we need the menue. Haha, no!

And thanks to technology we don't carry around paper-stuff, getting around is soooo easy with the app:

Is this really good, I wonder at times.
In real life I go nowhere in the car without the navi being in the car.
Back then I even went to big cities like Braunschweig (haha), Hannover and even Frankfurt with a paper-map!
I marked the places I need to go (looking for a job was tough back then), had a concentrated look, made notes and off I got - by myself.
I couldn't do that now, I guess.

Wll I soon have forgotten how to read a paper Train Timetable?
Glad we cannot peek into the future ...
