Crazy Morning

There is an older man walking his dog – not on a leash – through the park each morning.

In summer this was a normal, if rather unusual, thing to do. At 05:45 am…
But now?
There are no lights whatsoever and he still walks his dog through the pitch-dark park. Without any light, too.
In Germany, the land of dog-poo.
He likes to stop on the small bridge, so, to avoid that scene with the free dog I start my walk to work a tad earlier.
No idea if coincidence, but sometimes he does so, too.

Yesterday I took off 2 minutes earlier.
Haha, see last post, minutes, right.

A running girl later in the empty streets, it was a spooky scene.

A car stopping with warning lights.
Car pooling, maybe?
No. A rather sturdy young woman gets out and… heads to the cigarette automat!!!

I step up to fourth floor, unlock the door, turn off the alarm system, lock the door, walk to my office, the door gets unlocked and my colleague, who NEVER turns up before 06:24 (his bus arrives 06:22) steps in, telling me of a girl getting cigarettes right at Alte Waage, leaving her car with warning lights … you get the picture.

He goes to Berlin after work for an "Ingress Anomaly" (the next one is in Perth btw) and took his car, parking behind the cinema.

Work btw... colleague after colleague comes up to me asking, "is it true?... But... there IS work for you!".
And most say, "our old boss would´ve acted differently".
It still feels unreal to have lost the job of 16 years...

The most unusual scene yesterday morning, though, was that running girl through the empty streets.
Could´ve been London 1800-something with the old laterns and the steamy light.
