Yes, it´s a cute red squirrel (the grey ones are a pest, too, mainly in Great Britain, though. They make pie from them (no kidding).

I have to admit that while I hate it when the squirrels eat ALL the bird food, they are fun to watch and I put out special food for them (which at least gives the birds a fighting chance till they eat it all!) Those are great photos -- love watching them. (We have red squirrels too!)
Ohhh, what do you feed then, I wonder! I haven´t seen the Wee One again, sadly... Guess he/she is mad at me ;-)

My parents had a small wooden shelf set outside their second floor sitting room, say about the size of a shoe box. Each morning in the winter they would put some peanuts out on the platform, and sure enough, squirrels and birds would come for them. It was ideal for photographing them. This was in addition to the hanging feeders along the porch.
Unsalted peanuts! Guess what I try to get tomorrow, thank you!
