CJ and Ink motivated us to search for three words, right?
These were/are mine, isn´t this just crazy, it so does fit!
(Bare with me. First time I tried these art-techniques...)
And since Elizabeth and Bleubeard´s "T Stands For Tuesday" also is about art I thought I might share it today.

With some I exchanged pressies and some I meet on top, too!

And... I want to change my life. I want to take the chance!!
I know (too many) people who "curse" social media.
Just why? "Social" is good.

I´m an introvert and this is a great way to get to know each other before we meet in real life.

Ella, well to be honest: Those were the first words I found at CJ´s and... I googled a bit, I´m sadly not that creative! I will even admit: I took pics with the smartphone and pinned through!
All the magic is gone now, huh, LOL.
LOL, sorry the color of the food is enough to let go, it was just coconut milk with tumeric! But, admittedly, not that yummy. I´m still a beginner in that field.

Happy T Day Iris. Yes, blog friends are really good to have, aren't they? I am glad you are one of mine. You wondered about the name on my water bottle-it is POland Spring's because the name of the town where it comes from is POland (Maine). Maine has some weird town names, POland, Sweden, Paris, Lebanon, Peru. You never know I guess. That is a great piece of art from CJ. I hope you have a super T day. Hugs-Erika

Hi Iris, I love my blogging friends too-I started back in 2003 or 2004 on yahoo 360 when that site went down went to multiply which I totally loved so much it had everything (before facebook) one could private message, have photo albums, set your blog to just certain people or everyone then they sold it-I refused to go to facebook so was left in limbo-I was on blogger for a long time too with art and quilt friends but they all went to facebook-I now have wonderful friends again thanks to Elizabeth and the T group-Living so rural I always say my closest friends are inside my computer otherwise I would have no one to "talk" to.

Kathy, the same here - many went to facebook and stopped blogging altogether, which is sad.
But every two years we try to make it to Perth and visit them.
That is a long history you have there, I´m impressed!

I find blogging has been great to connect with people from all over the world, to learn how others live, learn about parts of the world we don't know and to make friends, sometimes even to be able to eventually meet them.
I replied on the mural too, you didn't miss the swan, it's on the girls earring :) He always puts a small swan somewhere in his murals, I suppose his trade mark.
Excellent choice of words Iris. I have to confess I'm not a big fan of Facebook and computers drive me insane, I called mine every bad name in the world this afternoon, it hates me as much as I hate it 😄 but I do love the connection with so many blogger friends around the world and learning about their lives and their part of the world 💙

Three words to live by. Change is always going to happen so embrace it, gratitude for the people in your life and making connections with the new and the old whatever it is. I left facebook over two years ago. Same old posts/memes you'd see everyday making the rounds. To much aggrevation plus being on blogger I was spending too much time online. I wanted less online time so I stayed with blogging. I find it interesting, you learn a lot from reading comments and posts that people share. I find it rewarding.

I have to admit I still am on Facebook. It helped me through a very tough phase when Hubby was very sick - and only due to Facebook I found out they needed volunteers for The Giants in Perth - Hubby was the only Euopean helper.
I think it´s an easy way to stay in touch with those who sadly stopped blogging, too.

Krisha, Mug Beans are some beans used in the Asian kitchen - not really worth it, I was disappointed, but I hate wasting food... (maybe also cause I´m a newbie in cooking and just did it wrong!).
Iris, I love your word for 2020. I'm also proud to have met you on blogger. I am not now, nor have I ever been, on any other social media site. I don't tweet and I don't own a cell phone, so Instagram is a joke to me. I'm so glad I got to meet you on the internet and feel like we have become friends, too. LOVE your cartwheeling tea today. I do use Facebook and have some blogger-friends who quit blogging still there.
I think if used wisely it´s a great tool. Even my Brother is there, that says a lot ;-)
My MIL contacts me mostly that way, too. The chat is quite good for this.
Twitter, though... nah. Somehow I fail to see the use if there is Facebook. Plus... I don´t have that much to say ;-)

I thank you very much for being my friend. I have friends and acquaintances in real life, but somehow I get to know my 'virtual' friends more. It's interesting to see each other's life style and hear about each others work and tastes and family and hobbies. I think social media enhances life. I still use Facebook, because I have left a lot of friends and family behind when we moved to Spain. That way I keep in contact. Even my 95 yr old mother uses Facebook.
I started blogging in 2011. I always said, when I retire I will start blogging, and I did. I have two blogs a week and both have different groups of people looking at it. You read both, I know.
I just read in one of your comments that you saw Life Is Beautiful in the original. I did too. I like Roberto Benigni and I couldn't possibly see him speak anything other than Italian.
Your mung bean dish looks nice. I have bought some mung beans intending to make beansprouts. But I suppose I can also cook them normally...

Great words for 2020, Iris. I usually choose only one, but this year I chose a phrase, "It's all good." Three words - just like you. Weird, right?
In my opinion, blogs like ours are not what most people mean when they say social media today. We keep control of who comments and reject comments that are inappropriate. We connect with like-minded people to share our common interests and lives.
I rarely visit Instagram and Pinterest. I avoid Facebook like the plague and go only when friends/family message me. So I think you've found a safe and happy online place and I'm glad for it.

When you say Social Media I think of Facebook and Twitter, both of which I avoid as a waste of time. I'd rather read a good book.
My word for 2020 is restraint, I need to stop spending so much money on things I don't really need.

I agree about friendships made through blogging but I don't do Facebook or Twitter, as for Mung beans, I have a love hate relationship with them, Steve likes to put them in stir frys which does add a crunch but I don't really like the flavour!!!
