The seeds said "poppies" but they look rather like loads of German luck, like 4-leaved cloverleafs... Big irony or... luck after all?
These guys were not so lucky:
Last Monday I took the route via the ever empty campus since a long while and noticed this welcome-post-it´s- creation for the new students 2020.
Reckon they will remember their (at least) first two semesters not in a way they were looking forward to.
Wild parties, full auditorium, canteen-food... nada.
But... let´s stay positive in a positive way, the House of Science shows us a light!
Henry 🦁? He loves to see a bright(er) future, too!

Dearest Iris! Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful photos that talks so much about Autumn! Pumpkins, rains, and blooms! Today there is a big typhoon that will enter the Philippines. As per the Washington Post, it's the strongest on earth for 2020. I feel sad for those passed by the last typhoon just last week who's still flooded and guess what, this strong one will pass by them again, and us as well! I will certainly NOT celebrate Halloween. I don't like it at all. It does not belong in my country. But more and more people seem to think it does. The clover will bring luck, that's for sure

Bertiebo, same here... but, well... we go "global" and as long as it doesn´t hurt (though some throw eggs and stuff at houses wuo do not participate, not funny!).
That would really be a sign if those were clover hidden in my fav flower, the poppies!!!

LOVED the vampire pumpkin. That was clever. That clover is unlike any I've seen before, but I sure like it. Lovely photos of your walk. Too bad the college is on lockdown, but I personally think that's for the best. Best for the students and best for their families they would infect when they go home on holiday. Glad Henry is looking for happier times, dear. Me too.
I notice how there seems to be so many lion figurines in Germany. Love it.

I didn't do any Halloween decorating this year. With all of the illness & death in the world I just wasn't into it.

Not a Halloween person either. Here in Australia it seems to be getting more popular with the kids.
I like that pink wildflower, but the poppies, certainly look more like clover. My poppies have start to bloom :)

Last time we were in Australia for Halloween (Carnarvon, 1999) there was not one kid trick or treating. Well, times are a changing!
