This was somewhere in Italy, some signs there are without, others with "description":
I think this was our last stop, from there it was back to Germany. Sadly only till Nürnberg where we had to "kill" three hours and what ran we into?
Is one street nicer, more pompous than the other? 😉
Since German number plates have to have the abbreviation as first it´s really difficult to find fun plates, but here are two:
This one is from Hanau and here is a visitor from Dinslaken:
This one is funny as Ingo uses this as example for how to pronounce his name, when people only read it:
Dingo without the D - otherwise most try to start like with mine which in English is pronounced with an "eye" for "I", but Eyengo just is wrong, LOL.
And Monday I saw this truckie who just came from LIDL:
Yep, a Frenchman, even they buy at LIDL.
And Henry 🦁, he just went down "his" street:

When I moved to Braunschweig in 2002 I lived on that street indeed. Now I pass by every Monday on the way to our old bakery.
Do you live in Italy? LOL I see "Via Garibaldi" there ... I was visiting friends in Milano on "Bartolomeo Cabella", a street very close! LOL

LOVE all your signs this week. Is it because I'm American English that Ingo's name was always pronounced like it sounded in my world? Who would turn an I into an E (except after C-grin)?
Yes, it was too funny a couple of times how people in Australia tried.
Even when Ingo friendly corrected them they had no clue, but this does the trick 😊
You can also take "Bingo" in case someone has no clue what a Dingo is.

It is great fun looking at signs - sometimes you see the funniest ones. I never thought of pronouncing Ingo with an "eye" - it just doesn't sound right somehow. Enjoy your day :)

Why would anyone think to say "Eyengo"? I knew right away it was Ingo, it's very simple. I do know a few people who insist on saying Eyetalian for Italian, but they don't say Eyetaly, they say Italy, so how do they not see the difference.
River, beats me, I dunno! But I have difficulties with some names, too...
