The Germans are stupid - they keep their darn show on, The Masked Singer - dunno. I don´t feel it´s right. Or am I too sissy? Apart from the fact that I don´t like such stupid shows in general.

I do hope many will take their chance, in either country. Not going means giving your voice to ... maybe the wrong one. And here sadly too many do not see that. Are disappointed since years or decades even.

Yes, I´m afraid you are right...
We are in a pretty good situation, although the daily results are increasing slightly (150-300 / day). But Finland is a small and sparsely populated country. We only have a recommendation to keep the mask everywhere.

I am sure the football fans can't wait to get back inside the stadiums. I think our team/stadium is slowly re-opening, letting in a smaller crowd. Hubby and I have voted and dropped off our ballots at the official drop box. It is great you are able to get so many steps. Take care and stay safe.

I heard a statistic yesterday that nearly blew me away. EVEN IF Biden wins and initiates his plans, prediction models show it could be between 3 1/2 and 4 years before we get back to "normal."
It's sad to see empty seats and hard on owners of these teams, who rely on the proceeds from ticket sales to pay their players these high wages. What gets me is pro basketball (my game of choice) had no teams get sick from the virus, but both baseball and football players have come down with the virus. Thankfully, sports officials and players are tested regularly with quick results. I can't understand why the rest of the country can't get their test results quickly, too.
I hope you saw the dream I had about Henry. So glad he is going home.
BTW, I sent my ballot in yesterday, so I have voted. Now I must be sure it was accepted AND I can stay alive till after November 3 so my vote will count.

In India the Indian Premier League of cricket has begun in right earnest though played in empty stadia. But being the favourite game in India, has garnered lot of eyeballs on the television.
It is amazing that it will be election time also there in DE. It's the worse time in the world to live at and hopefully our votes no matter which country we are in will be for the betterment not just of the citizens but of every nation! Sending hugs dear Iris!

I no longer watch any pro sports do to their disrespect of our flag and country. and now supporting these riot groups antifa that have taken over the black lives matter movement. and I Love pro football but no more. They get paid millions of dollars every year and should be playing their sport-not spending air time doing politics.

In answer to Elizabeth's comment there are lots of fast tests available now-they just take around 15 minutes. the state governors can request them and they use them for the school children every day also so they can attend school and not sit in front of a computer at home instead I have also turned off All regular media news-its all lies I found this to be a fact when I watched something live and than that night turned on the news and they changed it completely to attack our administration. I search online for the truth and actually I found one at an Australian news station-they speak the truth
We just atarted a six week lockdown. Hopefully the numbers will decrease. I used to follow sports but they all became too boring and it was a waste of time for me. Anyway, we have no tv. Lots of reading and walking but I do want to go somewhere and just have to be patient. Henry probably needs to be recharged for his next venture. Greay skies here too.

I am not into sports at all for so many reasons. As for covid it will never go away just like the flu and a cold. The US will take years before we come back from what the "thing" in the white house had done.
Kathy, I SO agree with you - not for our American Football, those players don´t get much, but the soccer-players - it is hilarious!!! Millions and Millions for NOTHING!

I don't care for sports at all so it doesn't bother me that I can't go to watch. I AM bothered by the excessive wages these sportspersons get paid when so many of them have regular jobs as well. When did football etc become an industry not just a game?
