Hi Iris, I'm trying so hard to catch up but life is definitely getting in the way at the moment 🙂 The bathroom is still a mess but at least there is a floor now 🙂 hopefully fini by Saturday. Renovating is no fun. Plus I haven't been all that well, better now so don't worry. Guess what! I bumped into a very handsome fireman at the shops yesterday and he very kindly autographed his picture in the calendar for you, look out for Marty, you can't miss him 🙂 Will get it into the post for you this week. Hope you are both keeping well.. despite the cold weather, take care of each other xxx

Love the fabric, sewing is something you don't save on. Any way check those charity shops, or what we call thrift store. I sometime find great deals on fabrics, entire yards or meters.

I do like your stove cover. I often wish I had a sewing machine still, we use to have an old one from the 1950s but it had too many issues.
