Oh, I looked SO forward to these and asked Ingo to bring an extra-bunch.
Boy.
The pumpkin from the market was crap and so were these.
I tried it a second time like this:
I asked for more than enough, right.
And I can cook, so the next two days...
... oh, I added an egg, too.
The obligatory:
Monday I got bread for Ingo, yippeee, walking doesn´t hurt much no more. Did some job-research (as every day, but this day for a real purpose!).
Tuesday... another Spinach-cheese-pie!!! (such an exciting life)
Wednesday.... total brainer with tests, 2 1/2 job-interviews via Microsoft Teams, phone calls.
Ingo got me a pro-mike and possible boss was very impressed, LOL:
Thursday: shock! Uh. Taxes last year for private persons due in December. Now October 31st, hence November 01st.
The program... really... they need 10 testers!!! I kept on going. Saw.... 14 pages later, ahhh... they wanted this here? No. Really. Test your program. It was a pain in the but#! Correct it yourself or send it back.
Called the city of Harzburg for infos... and the guy was so friendly!
I got used to / lost my fear of calling people or using monitor and mike.
Progress, huh?
Friday 05:45 a call... I think I got A JOB! Off soon to sign the contract.
And I learned Basil helps against thin hair????
Saturday I got up at 04:00 - I´m just so freaked out the job offer isn´t real. Ingo later made "spaghetti", I still eat on - I cannot eat, I´m so nervous.
Sunday. Nervous, Kids-TV and Footy. Ingo kept telling me "you have the job!"
What a week (again!) As this is for Elizabeth´s T Stands For Tuesday I present you what Ingo brought me to the PC-table:

Nervous, nervous, nervous. Thankfully sneakers are OK these days - no way I walk 3 km in high heels or come with a huge bag so I can change shoes before going in.
Just as info Braunschweig is dependent on Volkswagen Wolfsburg and I don´t wanna drive no more... this job is in Braunschweig.
Hope it´s afternoon soon and it went well. That would be a very happy T-Day!

However, I can assure that German Stuererklärung is a Kinderspiel compared to its US counterpart. - We love brussels sprouts and often eat them sauteed. My mom used to boil them, that was terrible... (and she usually was a good cook!)

Brussels sprouts? No thank you. I have never liked them. My husband is British and they eat them at their Christmas meal (Yuck) Every year he makes me eat at least one sprout.
What is coffee batida? I've not heard of that one.
Tax returns.... what a palaver. I earn so little that i don't pay tax (fortunately) and hubby only has a state pension and the tax gets deducted automatically so no tax return necessary. Phew. Not our favorite job.

Dora, Brussels Sprouts are yum - and taxes are sure not....
Yum, I'm one of the few people who appreciate brussel sprouts, everyone I go says ewww and I'm glad it's not just me that grates cheese over soup.
I grill my brussels sprouts in the oven, with olive oil over them, garlic and salt. They get a bit toasted and are delicious.
