Murals again found at Westerly Ring-Area in Braunschweig, created by students.
It´s such a pain to turn on the telly these days, yet, I do.
I always hope to get good news.
I want to see this for real:
I want to hear people sing the songs of joy, rebuilding their free country.
Pics taken before we knew what was rolling towards us.
Why English? Why "STAY", not "BE", I have no idea.
Maybe this was dedicated to another war, who knows? There are no names of the artists.

I hope... for the people of the Ukraine... this means not Germany, not Poland, not... wherever it is not their home, I hope it will be their homes and that they can call Europe their family.
By golly. Who would ever have thought this madness might hit us, and yes, it is "us", we all will suffer if they do not stand brave.
Politically "we" are not allowed to help and this hurts so much.
Throwing bombs on a hospital where women birth babies ... how small can a tiny 1.70m man get?

Maybe the mural was "stay brave" during the pandemic, not yet about Ukraine.
It's nice and colourful and love the Henry mural with the baby lion.

I don't know why English instead of German but I think "Stay" makes sense -- if this was painted for the refugees, they already ARE brave -- and they need to stay that way to get through this. Both are beautiful murals.
The mural is from 2020, but it sure fits today. Not all Ukrainian people speak German, so even English was a good decision back then, you are right!

RedPat, we get so many refugees, I just want to be up to date.
Also, what if Polen is next, then... it would be us again.
We are thinking of them from here, unbelievable that people here are complaining about their freedom, they should got to the Ukraine and really see what losing freedom looks like.
I am glad the Ukrainians are not making it easy. I hope the rest of the world takes notice.

This mural is valid for every day for everyone. Stay Brave in every challenge in life!. And it suits the current situation in the world too. A beautifully painted mural.

I saw something good on the news last night. President Volodymyr Zelensky walking through a hospital greeting his injured soldiers, shaking their hands and giving them medals.
He is a good President, one who cares for his country and people.
