Let me take you one more time to the InnoTrans 2022. Even if this scene looks as cool as the 1970´s - or even rather 1960´s? WANT!!!!!
I´m writing to you from my streetfind I named "Treasure"...
Ingo called him Spock´s chair...
(and yes, in German chairs are male...)
Oh, I remember... 15 years at CGS - working for Volkswagen in Wolfsburg.
My boss from Braunschweig came in with a bottle of champagne and a lille pressie and I... was wearing a Spock-T-Shirt.
Unlike my customer he was not amused!!! (we can go casual to work, very important to me).
I can bite my butt. Do you relate?
You get so absorbed into the stuff you forget to take pics!!!
I saw parts of used pantos, got to talk to the guy presenting them and took NOT ONE pic!!!
I greet "my" Braunschweig-pantos every time I see them (which is often) and then this...

And I... I usually only see the technical drawings and exclaimed upon the following sight:
How cool was that!
And yes. Since first I see the English documents from Spain before controlling the German ones (don´t ask 🤣) I call them bogie, not Drehgestell. Is faster, too.

I "braved up" for these. On the outdoor-display they spoke French and my French is, well... not that good anymore.
Officially in Germany ALSTOM-language is English - they spoke... (if I remember right) German!!! Maybe English, thankfully not French 😉

I don't understand any of the machinery, but I like how sleek and shiny it all is.
Well, I did such drawings back in the day myself (on buildings) and I never ever saw myself in railway, but this is how life sometimes takes an unexpected (lucky) turn!
My all male-colleagues never expected me to be able to very quickly read those, always fun on my side ;-)

I think your work dealing with all these technical drawings and parts must be interesting.
It would have been an interesting expo for railway people.

The magic chair (with a rip in the drivers chair, insider yoke). But, with a pillow on top (covering the rip) it is so comphy. I like the squeaking you never heard from Spocks chair.

It's so interesting to see train seats of the future. And seats of the past and now. There is nothing better than a comfy seat!
