My internet search comes up with 3M in Minneapolis being the inventor of transparent tape in 1930, which is a few years before your inventor’s claim. I always thought it was their product: Scotch Tape is its American name.

Oh my g-d! Those poor people living behind bars! Sad woman statue, needs to find a home where she's appreciated. I also heard the Scotch Tape story, as well as the fact that 3M makes all it's inventors turn over their patents to the corporation...sad. Loved the train, and camels.

I call it sticky tape and use a lot of it, it's so handy. I agree with Macron. That building might be very secure with all the grids but I wouldn't like to live there.
I used it often, too.
The character counts, not the clothes - and he was dressed properly, not like some "punk". I would not move into that hose, even if cheap.
