Did that in consultation with my doctor... think she has no idea herself? I should´ve waited till winter...

Never seen that mural, but looks a bit creepy... The Duisburg park looks interesting, at night at least with all the different light colours. Hope you feel better soon Iris. Once in my child-bearing age I started a new pill that made me itch from the neck all the way to my feet! The Dr had never heard of it and wasn't keen that I stop taking it, but I did and it took 2 weeks before the itchiness went away! Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.

Trust me, Iris, you wouldn't want to have the surgery unless you absolutely had to. It took me a year to feel like myself again.

I also had the early hysterectomy, but later still had the hot flashes, because the ovaries were still there so the hormones still did what they are supposed to do. I remember sitting at home, then suddenlt stripping off clothes from the heat and a few minutes later putting them back on, for about six months, then a got a "crawling" feeling just under my skin, so my doctor prescribed "hormone replacement tablets" and they worked well. I was "normal" again for twenty years, then I stopped them. These days I still get a few hot flushes when I eat the wrong things, like ice cream or chocolate or have too many hot coffees. But the hormones are not to blame, it's my fatty liver and "hot" blood.
Hack!!!! No one told me about hysterectomy! Nearly 30 years.... Well, reckon now it does not matter anymore. I´m just also so TIRED! Thank you for being so open and honest!
