"Nicht lang schnacken, FISCH einpacken!"

Ha Ha, I thought Schnacken was "snacks" and thought it was a bag of fish snacks for frying a quick lunch or maybe for cats. I like smaller ruined buildings, like old abandoned farms etc, wondering who lived there and how they lived, but places like this big one is too hard to imagine.
Your thought with snacks makes sense, of course!!! Yet, no ;-)
When I was a kid I roamed "Ildehausen" and we found an old shack - old pans, pots, trousers!
Near Townsville (I guess) in your country, we were shown an old house. We got explained and weee, it was fun for all of us - it was the man´s parent´s house and he didn´t even wanted money....

I thought the fish sign meant that it applied to a fish factory or shop. Fish and chips though us kiwis love it, beer batter is the best to use

OK. I´m an honest person. I think it was salmon with spinach that my Brother served (ages ago) for Christmas-dinner. Did I have a hard time to get that down!!!!! I know it´s healthy but yikes, so fishy!!!
