Still Sorting Through

This is "our" Shopping Centre in Madeley, just 10 minutes on foot away, the Kingsway Shopping Centre - fitting to an Emperor, huh?
It´s warming up here a bit, yet I sure miss Perth and am loooong not done with pics. And videos.

As you know I am (half) German and as that sure not proud of the history.
The German flag is out for worldwide-soccer -games when Germany takes part, or Europe, other it´s a no-go.

So nice to see some can be proud of their place, let me show you!

Wee, what a crazy chicken Ingo brought home to #101! You find him at the public BBQ.

1995 was my first time here, too!

Aren´t these too cute??? And these I really did buy:

We washed by hand and weee.... in Germany I never saw such cool pegs!

LOL on the pin up photos!

So much fun stuff there, oh, Germany is so lame...

Hello, Iris
I like the decorations for the Chinese New Year.
They have some good item made in OZ.
I always love seeing the Black Swans, so pretty.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Hello Eileen, yes Chinese New Year is always fun. And oh, if I could take home all the fun things we do not have here! But some are here, so, to a great day!

At least they are proud of their country. You won´t find that here, so.... Cheers to them!

Yes, so fun! Australia has different pegs from ours. Each time I bring some back home.

I have pegs like that. They're great for holding together glueing art and for sealing up bags of open food or snacks.

And they´re beautiful - no such fancy things here!

I have a few of those pegs, they are boring colours though, black, white and that's it.

The New Year Tree is beautiful. I have never seen those steel pegs. I use a brand called REVA, made in Australia and sold in supermarkets in packs with white, blue and dark pink/red. I bought about sixteen dozen decades ago (four kids, lots of nappies) and am still using them, they have never let me down. Also I NEVER just leave them out on the line so they don't get rained on or sunburned

What do German pegs look like?

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, the colors made me buy them!

Prussian. My Mom came from near KΓΆnigsberg, now Kaliningrad, Russia.

Yes, playful is the right word! I could not resist! hugs

Wow, that is quality!!! The ones I bought here or in Madeley don´t last that long and I hang the clothes inside!
