It´s warming up here a bit, yet I sure miss Perth and am loooong not done with pics. And videos.
As you know I am (half) German and as that sure not proud of the history.
The German flag is out for worldwide-soccer -games when Germany takes part, or Europe, other it´s a no-go.
So nice to see some can be proud of their place, let me show you!

I have pegs like that. They're great for holding together glueing art and for sealing up bags of open food or snacks.
And they´re beautiful - no such fancy things here!
I have a few of those pegs, they are boring colours though, black, white and that's it.

The New Year Tree is beautiful. I have never seen those steel pegs. I use a brand called REVA, made in Australia and sold in supermarkets in packs with white, blue and dark pink/red. I bought about sixteen dozen decades ago (four kids, lots of nappies) and am still using them, they have never let me down. Also I NEVER just leave them out on the line so they don't get rained on or sunburned
