A fine idea of the artist to put an "ordinary" duck between those exotic birds, don´t you think?

Ingo drove with me to Globus last week and we passed by this:
Dear Sami, (at least) one tennant is still living in there and hence... the house is still standing!
Also provided by our host! I had a huge shower, too - my sneakers are not rainproof! A wonderful, heavy rain.

Beautiful birds mural. At this time of year I hear and see flocks of corellas and/or galahs squawking over head as they fly to and from the city feeding grounds, but they are too high and too fast to get a photo.
Interesting about the one remaining tenant, is the building scheduled to be torn down and rebuilt?

The house was to be torn down long ago! But one really refuses to leave!

Also nice touch noticing it on a drive past Braunschweig — those little roadside moments often stick longer than planned stops.

That is true, too, RedPat. But they roam Braunschweig, so this was a nice sight, I never saw a duck in Australia!
Not only did a duck sneak in there, but isn't that a flightless bird trudging along the sidewalk? A New Zealand kiwi bird, if I'm not mistaken.

I have the whole wall, Sami! And yes... still standing!!!! That building.I wonder if there is still water and/or electricity available even! Or why they don´t get that person out? Or is it used for refugees? That might be an explanation...
