I don't like the statue very much, It's lovely wood and well carved, but those pointy nipples look dangerous. If you fell sideways at your desk (like maybe falling asleep while working) she could scrape your face! I would have to put it far away and up high.
Hihihi, she´s high up on a shelf! She won´t hurt me, but she is typical Cuban. The women are so beautiful there! And so nice and friendly, too!

Oh I know about this Cuban art and the artist. Cuban-American artist Ana Mendieta, who carved and imprinted the female form directly into organic materials. She is featured at the MOMA Museum of Modern Art in New York. I love her art and the way she depicts the female form. Nice that you have a piece of this art. Henry is quite artistic.
