Well, that day was on June 11th - but Summer only came last week - on Wednesday.
Since then it is at least warm - my "flowers" .... grow but no blooms yet, it was just too cold.
Crazy when all around countries are on fire due to the heat.
At least that way German firefighters can go there and help, I am happy they do.
Though... from the Netherlands fire is spreading over here, too (far away from where we are).

Our Winter has come late too, it's only just hit like in the last week.
Roaming barefoot through warm sunshine feels like pure bliss after such chilly weather. Waiting patiently for those stubborn garden flowers to finally bloom takes serious willpower, though seeing everyone enjoy shorts or mini-skirts makes up for it. Hoping those scary wildfires stay far away while German crews help out neighboring regions.
