What´s the saying, there isn´t wrong weather, just wrong clothes, right.
So yesterday I made another tour to Lake Ölper.
Even though, eek, there was a hint of to what (hopefully not) is to come:
On the way to it was quite some traffic, families, with elderlies, maybe there is a cemetary nearby or they were on the way to the little church to think of the ones we had to leave behind, after all it was Totensonntag.
I prefered to take a little break here:
Later Bro called, they´d been to our parent´s grave, tidied up, brought winter-plants and a candle.
That´s always stuck to the ones who live near...
That is also why I put in my last will my urn will go to an unknown spot.
Next weekend, finally, I may visit - still in time for Niece´s Advent-calendar.
Ewww. And.
Bro won.
He´ll measure my eyes again and order progressive-addition lenses. Bu-huu.
If I really can´t cope, he can send them back for free.
I better hope that is the truth and was not just a trick to get me into this!
Bu-huuu cause a) I´ve heard from different people how difficult it is in the beginning and esp b) ... my green glasses! Too small for lenses like that!

Last time we saw each other was her birthday - guess I´m rather a stranger, kinda.

Good luck with the glasses. I wore progressive lenses a few years ago, I had no problem, but I really didn't think I needed them, as I only need to wear glasses to drive or watch tv, so it was pointless to have them on when reading...
Yes, I know, she´s only 5 years old...
Well, I´m getting old - I have to take off my glasses when I want to read. Really annoying!
The one in the grocery-store with the glasses on the forehead, reading a description... me!
