Yesterday morning I finally went to get my thyroid tested.
Actually you should do this once a year.
Last time was 2010, uups.
Guess the pumpkin soon has had it, no?
But, awww, the lamp in the background - just like the one hanging here, an original from my parents, whereas that one likely is IKEA? But what the heck - yay for the 70´s! :-)
On the way to the doc I found this rather weird combination:
After the visit at the doc I had the day off and... recycled plastic, paper, plastic bottles, did mini-grocery-shopping and lots of cleaning aka all floors and the darn shower and all.
Neighbour A popped by to bring me beans and china-paste and lots of advice, got olives in return and spontanously invited me up to show me what he´ll cooked the night.
Reckon I´ll really give it a go next Thursday.
I´ll have another day off then to get blood-pressure and all controlled by my doc for 24 hours.
The good thing is: Preparation is cold, I can put it in the cold oven and can let it cool down before taking it out - perfect for me!
For inbetween he gave me self-made lamb-goulasch, deep-frozen.
He just shouldn´t have said it´s rather fatty ;-)
Weird is how different his kitchen looks like, despite it´s the same space as ours.
28 680 steps taken today, just by walking to and fro doc and running around cleaning.
Housewifes sure have my respect!

Hope all ok with your thyroid, never had mine tested.
Chinese restaurant in between Drs, LOL.
It seems what is old is in fashion again, Ikea does seem to have a lot of lamp shades and other stuff based in the 70's fashion.

I will get the thyroid test-result next Thursday. I know I´ll have to take a pill for the "rest of my life" and that´s ok.
The test doesn´t hurt and in Germany it´s payed by the gov, too :-)
I topped the 26K+ today :-)
