Some Jobs Are Hard
I had the day off yesterday, slept in till 06:30, tidied up, vacuumed, recycled ("watched" Quincy whilst doing the first two) and then...
A very late brekkie at 09:00.
Bread, butter... BOING.
Really, knive, with butter you give up?!
OK, three knives left. Let´s see how far we come with buttering, huh?
I went to Bad Harzburg to get something explained by my agent, re-parked the car three times for that, too - the staff is friendly but unable to explain directions. Women, huh, me included, LOL!
The bread I´d made for lunch was neatly sitting in our fridge, btw.
An un-yummy dinner, hence (really... it´s cold, I´d liked something warm but am too frugal to throw away food!).
So I arrived with an empty stomach in hospital Hildesheim and later "had to" go for an unhealthy cheese-bacon-croissant (no, I didn´t forget my lunch on purpose!).
Everybody is real nice in that clinic.
I went to the service point asking which room M. K. is.
- M. K...? I have an M. L. K.
- L. only when she´s not nice.
- :-)
I know, diabetes is not such a big deal these days, but, alas, still sad Niece gets to cope with it.
They got a cute name for the pink pump they use for her, but Wee One was occupying me so much I didn´t really get it.
Wee One made a huge jump concerning language, it´s plain amazing, I mean... it´s been just a week!
She wanted to see my 3-d-Braunschweig-ring and commented it mostly right, Henry being a "wau-wau", but what the heck, very close!
She had four play-horses, one really small, I said, oh, a pony.
She called it pony from that on, clever girl, no repetition needed!
After all the learning (parents-wise) we went for a walk (full pics again here).
Niece was exhausted and all, in a bad mood, I do understand, who wouldn´t...
Let´s hope she can come home after the weekend and learn to handle the sickness, I´m positive she will.
Came hope without incident, no traffic jam and no parking, gahhhhh.
When I came home by foot... a car-driver left around the corner. Murphy!!
Addendum:
Hehe, Wee One wanted me to carry her.
And said cold hands, which I reported to Daddy.
Right hand: Warm.
Other?
Shakes her head. Warm, too.
Mine?!!!
JA!
True, too.
She feels that through all the clothes PLUS diaper!

Oh it really is too sad that your little niece has to go through this Iris, life can be very u fair sometimes. It's good that you are all there to keep her spirits up.
That´s what family is (also) for, right, Grace :-)
Though, well, didn´t work that good with the spirits...
Maybe you better go with some softer butter next time. :-)
