Not even summer (meteorologically), yet yesterday we already got 31C!

He knows "how to summer", he dragged the bench into the water, clever boy :-)
He was still there when we came back even!
We went to...
... as Ingo needed some new shorts. "German army"-shorts. The fella was funny, addressing Ingo in the casual "du" about 30 times and suddenly changing to the official "Sie". Ummm, what?
Ingo told him "du" is fine but he kept changing between both.
Well, Ingo has proper clothing now for next Saturday.
And I will join him on his "army-trip", too. Me. Who´s cousin in the 70´s was one of the first Conscientious objectors, irony, huh?
We got some high quality chickenbreast for me and on the way back we saw the first posts up for the 32nd Braunschweig Night Run:
Reckon peeps didn´t expect to run in such high temps in early June!
Kids opened the run at 06:15 p.m., the last runners took off at 10:30 p.m. (we weren´t watching, though).
Hope they all had fun!
I did my training, too - in 26C in the living room! By the end of the day my POLAR said 220% (second level), 20 950 steps, 13,3 km and 2080 calories. I hope the thing keeps me motivated!
Awwww, summer, I so hope we get a great, hot one!

I like that lion climbing wall, very funny, and the guy on the bench inside the fountain, that is even funnier. Well he had the right idea with that temperature.

Looks like you are well on the way to a hot summer Iris, you'll be having to think of ways to cool down yourself, you might have to get to that bench earlier than its present occupier 😀

It´ll be a walk/march for ex-soldiers around Steinhuder Meer - I´ve never been there, hence I (may) join :-)
It´s actually not an ocean (Meer), but a lake, too!
