What a name.
Call me old-fashioned. If it fits it sits, no need for complicated stuff or names.
These are 47 blocks of different sizes and shapes forming a cycle you have re-shaped from whichever angle you look at.
Didn´t work that well for me, but then I´m no artist.
The person in question was Tetsuro Yamasaki, in case you wanted to know.
And yes. It is handiwork indeed.
I should know, I worked with my hands, too. I even soldered, I even had to turn hard metal into one with which you could work with. Wood, did that.
Still, this piece. Hmm... Guess I´m just an ordinary engineer ;-)
Maybe I need some "life support" instead!

Both statues are nice, although the Life support is more artistic.

I love the artwork but find in general find artistic descriptions a lot of pompous twaddle. I know they have to write stuff like that to be part of the art scene but I don't have to read it or bother with it to enjoy their creativity.
I agree, partially. Sometimes I´m too "dumb" and the explanation might give an "aha-moment". And sometimes not ;-)
