And back again to sculpture by the sea.
These are called "Zombie Crabs" by Italian artist Nicola Rota.
These crabs have emerged from the earth like sea monsters, restless, though playful souls, aka zombies.
Playful does not come to my mind.
They return to celebrate immortality.
I hope that´ll go for Notre Dame as well and that Macron keeps his word, that he is no Pinoccio...
Speaking of...
This is Bongsoo Kim´s "Thoughts of Pinocchio".
It´s about hiding your purity and becoming selfish and greedy.
About masking ourselves with lies in this competitve society that looks for money and power.
I won´t leave you with negative thoughts, certainly!
This is no sculpture, this happy-colored structure is for the life savers watching over the bathing people.
It brightens up also this rather cloudy day, no?

Haha! Must admit the first time we went to Sculpture by the Sea, I did think the lifesaver but was one of the exhibits 😀
