T STandns For MalT

Since last T-day some assumed Mum is alcohol I´d like to present you the Brunswick Mum-Book.

Again a mixture of history and recipes.
Sadly again in German only.
In the beginning it was a very strong beer, so strong it lasted long and went global, India, Central America, the Caribbean...

It helped to prevent scurvy on the long journeys on the ships.

1800-something it came without alcohol, just a malt-drink to help women who just were weak, had just given birth, people who needed strength to fight deseases, even tooth ache!

These days you can put it in beer to give it a sweeter Mum-taste, or use it for cooking, too.
