It´s plain amazing - I always wanted one of these - but "luckily" it was too bulky, so I left it for someone else.

It was closed for over a year (and there is a guy here who collects and then SELLS free stuff. I rather want to leave my books and such for students for free, not for sale - I was a student myself, I think they enjoy and not sell. And give it along for free later.).

Giving stuff away seems to be a pleasing trend of late. I am all for it. Recently we have put quite a few items on Kijiji, and all people have to do is pick them up. We do not try to sell them.
What a great idea being able to give things away like that. Sometimes people will put old sofas and chairs on the roadside for anyone to pick up, but usually we have to donate things to the local charity shop or take them to the dump, otherwise there would be endless complaints about "making our street look untidy."
Not much on the streets here lately. The last thing I saw, a few months ago, was a plastic potty, shaped like a toilet, used for toddler toilet training I suppose. It was very clean, so anyone who needed could take it, but it sat there so long eventually the council rubbish collection picked it up.
Tom, take an empty parcel-thing and give it away :-)
