I don´t want paragraph, but "normal" - Blogger switches to paragraph all the time. I want Arial, not Courier. Switch, switch, switch.
Try to add a youtube-movie, no HTML, no chance or a looong procedure? (Glad I can to the first).

I really don´t understand how an update can get from bad to worse over months and I read complaints at fellow bloggers often, too.

I always avoid to update the programs because, everytime, I get into the troubles for new problems.
To find the best solutions and the right procedures we need time and when we are satisfied of the achievements they decide to change!!! Very annoying.

I hate updates that make it all worse cause they don´t test them properly! Yupp, they seem to change often, very annoying.
I hope you got the problems sorted out. I try to keep things as they are and usually avoid any update as much as possible because it will give me much headache trying to sort things out when I am not so IT savvy.
It stinks that you are having blogger problems. I haven't had any issues since it was updated months ago. Good luck.
Yes - so not amused with Blogger here too. That normal / pragrapt thing is a p.i.t.a! Adding pictures - one by one because Blogger has no short term memory any more - and hoping that they end up where I want them ot go, is worse.

Me, neither! It was good before the forced "update".
I edit things all the time after they've been published, but I have never had to remove a post because I accidentally back dated it. I think you did the right thing. Now it's time to move on to something new because, as you said, it's free. I know very few people who DIDN'T have problems with the new and improved blogger when it came out.
Must be one of those days. I've been fighting with a remote controller for two hours.
I use WordPress, which costs money, but I don't have your problems with blogging.

Blogger seems to occasionally do things to my formatting that I specifically did not ask for. It's irritating.

My biggest complaint is I prefer Arial over Courier or over anything else really. So I have to highlight all the text and change it. There is a way to set Arial on your computer as your preferred font, but the instructions were very, very long and I didn't understand any of them, so now I just type then switch. Blogger has an occasional annoyance, but nothing worth complaining about for me.
When I do my posts, particularly my Sunday Selection posts, I type the intro blurb first, then load all my selected photos at once, then write any text between them. I don't have any troubles with that method.
Blogger can be a challenge that's for sure. i think I have navigated it to the point where I can create and post without too much difficulty, but they modified a system that worked perfectly, to something that certainly has inconsistencies to put it mildly. But, as you say, it's free!

That's weird. I've never had a problem with editing at any time -- often after I've posted I see something before anyone's commented and can go in. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.
yes I've noticed little things here and there over the last few months with it too, can you edit your post by reverting it to a draft then re-posting it?
I haven't been using blogger for a while. But generally, updates are supposed to be for the better. But yeah -- oftentimes it gets less uses friendly. And that can be frustrating.
