Back from yesterday, at the WA-Museum, just a few pics.
Why ever the Bali-Shirt belongs. Many peeps from WA, instead of holidaying in their wonderful country fly to Bali...
Does it help to say I´m only half-German? Reckon not. As we see idiots are everywhere also today, fighting for whatever excuse they find...
But how and why did it get to WA?
I admit, I browsed quickly through there. Growing up in Germany, living in Germany means to be confronted by WWII all the time.
Many wanted to join, make a new, better living...
These days rules are super-strict, a point system decides if it´s even worth trying.
Being over 50 (both of us now) and having health-issues (Ingo) makes us visit for 6 weeks only every two years (because we cannot afford more often).
And the plan is: (Our) winter 2026!!
As last time, on Ingo´s wish, we flew to Adelaide to take the Indian Pacific back to Perth, maybe we´ll fly on my behalf to Broome and visit Sun Pictures, the world-oldest open air cinema (among many, many other things) and Ingo shares a pizza with me watching a movie in there (if this is still allowed).
What is your favorite place in the world - or are there too many to pick one?
The series...
"The tastiest dishes with the funniest names
Ladyfingers
These cake-like Italian cookies became popular in 19th-century England, where they took on the name "Ladyfingers." This was due to their association with sophisticated women, who enjoyed them at afternoon tea, and their slender shape, which resembled a lady's fingers."

I think we all want to go places that aren't home. I enjoyed this. Does Ingo actually play the didgeridoo? They sound so cool. I like your little travel corner. And ladyfingers were my brother's favorite dessert as a kid. They always make me think of him. Have a super rest of your weekend and start to the new week Iris. hugs-Erika
Ingo didn´t play in a looong time - neighbors hear everything here, so instruments are not really welcomed. But with practice he´d do a good job! I sadly have no talent for this...
Nice I could remind you of your Brother, maybe call him now? A great rest-weekend for you, too, Erika, hugs
Only half German? What is the other half? We have a busker who plays the didgeridoo in Rundle Mall but I haven't seen him in a long while, maybe three years now. I like your little Aussie corner. I hope you do get to see Sun pictures again.
East-Prussian.Sorry, blogger didn´t let me know you commented...
Hope like Peanut your Didgeridoo-guy comes back!
And Sun Pictures is still the same!
