When you hear the word "spam" you probably think of email, but another type of spam has also been around since the 1930s. This US canned meat product is made from ground pork and ham. The name is supposedly a made-up word for seasoned ham (i.e. “spiced ham”)."

Yes, the babies are really cute! The adults are pretty "boring" and apart from their size hard to spot. Also they are fast when without kids. Once I nearly "got" one...

When Himself was in 5th or 6th grade (grammar school at the time), the cafeteria served spam for lunch. One kid hurled and the rest of the kids in the cafeteria followed. After that, spam was removed from the lunch menu. 🤣

I love those little emus, they are so adorable. Spam, had it a few times in the 70s, it's very salty and I didn't care for it.

I remember buying spam when money was tight, we would slice it and fry it to have with a fried egg or maybe with mashed potato. But I hate the email kind of spam.
