Perth, 03/09 – One Last Time
Flowers in the caravan park, on the way to the bus-stop, which was destroyed, btw. Again, the lady waiting with us sad.
All the glass lying around - now I knew what the retiree in his wheelchair warned me of the other day on the way back home...
Why do people do that?
Still, the flowers are a beauty, no?
A last time we hopped on the 450 to get to Warwick and from there to Perth.
It was kinda weird.
All the "last time"-moments, sadness, but also the feeling, kinda, to be ready to get back to normal life.
It was a long, wonderful holiday, yet it felt kinda "enough".
For now, that is.
Since I still had not been in the mood to pack I listened to Ingo and took a pic only:
I should not have, there would´ve been space...
It reminds me of how I was "forced" to touch a Koala in Caversham Wildlife Park - the softest texture I´ve ever touched in my life!
Again: Next time, right?
And do you remember how I promised to look on the ground more?
Fail - Ingo had to show me the platypus.
We saw them for real when we waited to get our gas-tank fixed in 1995.
In Mackay the mechanic sent us to Eungella NP until he was done with the job and could turn to our car.
We ended up in pouring rain, in the gras, with a tank "repaired" with tea-tree-oil-soap only. All good, it worked and we could get to the mechanic safely.
I do not make this up (but I don´t really recommend this, either).
Woah, 1995. That sure is a long time ago!
A last beautiful mural and a dude being taken by surprise ;-)
The City of Perth making fun of us...
A last burger at Grill´d...
And a tad sad Ingo there:
Or rather a thankful-sad Ingo, huh?
Aw, if there was a wish on a rainbow...
Bye-bye for now, City of Perth...

Made me laugh Iris with the 'time to go home' flags :) I do agree, no matter how much you love a place (me Paris) it's always good to get home.
Well, Grace... ;-)
Ok, I admit, I smiled, too, but really, isn´t that ironic with the flags?!
Oh, Paris... nearly 30 years ago now that I was there! My French isn´t good anymore, either, vraiment.
Always sad to leave a holiday place that we love! Never seen that platypus on the floor either.
Isn't that date wrong?
Now you made me laugh, Sami, about the floor!
Nope, date is right, on March 9th it was a last day in Perth, on 10th we left, one more post is to come...
