Warmed Up

After we "got rid of" my Polo we payed our Christmas Market a visit.

I mean... we had to, right? Click link above, it says "With its 500-year tradition, the Braunschweig Christmas Market is amongst the most attractive and atmospheric Christmas markets in all of Germany."

It wasn´t too full yet, still it gave us a rather hard time.

Is there a law you have to walk mega-super-extra slow as soon as you reach the place?

Even though it was barely three in the arvo there was police securing the area.
How sad is that.
And who wants to do that job? I can imagine it gets really tough at night.

I remember a couple of years ago a man fell.
Way too much alcohol.
Ingo helped him up when paramedic came running, telling Ingo to let go of that man and go wash his hands very, very thoroughly NOW.
They already knew him and he was very contagious, brrr...

Actually one should always have a pair of disposable glovies with him - or her.
I just put some in my bag.

We didn´t fall, we had but one...

... and, my, that really warms one up!
Not as yummy as expected, though.
And with €4 for one not cheap, either...

That was the second visit this day for me btw.
For lunch I went with colleagues and we had super-yummy potato fritter, oh, what an unhealthy time! :-)
H asked how work´s doing and when I told him I´m terminated it came just yet again. "You??? But they need at least one tester!"
I´m sick of hearing it. Go, developers, do the testing... very unprofessional. But that should no longer spoil the fun, right?
Next time I´m in again, not with the traditional applesauce but something hearty instead!
Can´t wait!
