You all made me look for Stamps and stuff, so here goes!
The paper I had already, coffe-mug stains included.
Add the stamps and weeeee....
Last summer Big Niece (she´s turning 10 already!!!!) brought me a mussel from her holiday at the ocean and now I found a way to give it a proper "home" :-)
The coordinates you see in first pic would lead you to Bremen.
Ages ago Ingo and I were there with my Dad and his "star friends" (there is an observatory, too).
For lunch I ordered Labskaus, a typical Northern food.
My maternal family in second instance after WW II lived in the North.
There you have it with a Rollmops (örks) and put the beetroot right in. Looks like puke, Ingo prefers it the less-icky-looking way:
Mum worked in Helgoland and after visiting family at home she had to take a ship used by many a tourist, too.
Come winter she asked to have put Labskaus in a barf bag and ate on said ship.
You know... looks like puke, steaming as if fresh from your inside... Mum, this is to you!!! :-)
It´s warming up.
Well, that was Sunday.

Just imagine my tiny Mum grinning and eating that out of a barf bag! She had some fun! And it´s really yummy, too!

I found out, though, the beer in the storage room was "best till 2011" and it was 2018 already. Hmmm. Seems we work(ed) too much...

I have this theory about my internet. It knows exactly when it's Monday at 4 pm, so it immediately goes offline. ATT said they'd send someone Tuesday morning between 8 and noon. Looks like they did, since I'm now online.

Hi Iris, I forgot to answer your question about Photoshop. I bought PS CS3 when it came out. I had a student discount. So it cost about $300 USD. Then I had to pay $100 each time I upgraded to the newer version. CS6 was the last standalone version they offered. I refuse to pay $30 a month for an online subscription service. I'm a hobbyist, not a professional. Adobe doesn't support the standalone program anymore. I think that stinks. My Photoshop is losing functionality as time go by. The eraser tool doesn't work anymore. I had Lightroom too and that completely died. I'm not an Adobe fan.

I have never had any of the foods that you mentioned but the way things look is a big deal. I am not sure I could force myself to eat something a yucky brown in color.

Rollmops (did I spell that right?) looks like what we call hash. Only it's a little more chunky so it doesn't look quite so digested. When beets go in they call it red flannel hash. I like it with an egg. Now I know where such a dish came from. And yes I do love your art. It could be part of Art Journal Journey and this month's theme too. Not sure what size that paper is. Hope it was a super T Day. As usual I am let getting around! Hugs-Erika

Oh I love your tamped art work. Is it stamped on wood, or has it been made to look like that? Really nice. I love it. Again a nautical theme (Kathy Ozarks has a nautical theme as well)
I like labkaus. It's a bit like corned beef hash, but I'm not a fan of rollmops. (Very un-Dutch, I know).
Sparkling wine, yum, I could drink some of that right now. Your bottle is a 'dry red-riding-hood'. Great name for a sparkling wine. Prosit!
