Why flatsharing? My first real job - they can kick you out in the first 6 months (they kept me for 17 years).
New boss, I got terminated as Volkswagen closed down my project due to the Diesel affair.
New shoes to apply for a new job.
Found these shoes at ALDI and at first I thought each shoe is €3. Nope the pair was €3!
Still haven´t gotten an answer from the company I applied at. Will have to re-learn to walk in those shoes anyways, sneaker-times since years now!

Summer is still here in my world. You can have it. I'm ready for cooler weather.
I would break my NECK if I tried to walk in those heels. Good luck wearing them and good luck for that new job. Henry looks really good, dear. Just don't fall down when you're carrying him, please (grin).

I don't want Summer to end. I like the hot and humid weather. You don't have to wear a bulky coat and heat and humidity don't need to be shoveled.
I'm not looking forward to winter. I think I have forgotten how to walk in such shoes! I do like the look of them though.

Wow, drei Euro für ein Paar Schuhe! Das findet man hier nicht, und wenn, dann wär's wahrscheinlich der letzte Mist. Kannst du noch in so hohen Absätzen laufen? Ich schon lange nicht mehr. Teva Sandalen (oder barfuß) ist das, was ich im Sommer trage, auch zur Arbeit (wer achtet schon in einer High School library darauf, was wir tragen?). Ich erinnere mich, dass ich, als ich noch in Deutschland lebte, den Sommer immer sehr ungern gehen sah. Jetzt, wo ich in Nordkalifornien lebe, dauert der Sommer viel länger und meine Lieblingsjahreszeit ist der Herbst natürlich wegen der wundervollen Farben, aber auch weil ich weiß, dass ihm kein ewig langer Winter folgt.

Die letzen Jahre war es allen auch egal, deswegen Sneakers und FlipFlops, eitel bin ich schon lange nicht mehr, aber zumn Bewerben muss man ... "man(n)"... ja "hübsch" tun.

I think my feet would cry if I tried to wear shoes like that. Much too high for me. I've never worn high heels in my life.
3 Euros shoes? How cant hey afford to pay the people that make them? I'm a shoeaholic but try not to wear very high heels now unless it's for a short time or I will be sitting a lot.
We are getting a few warmer days, but today (Sunday) we had a windy and wet day.

Oh, Sami, there was a woman in history who had shoes, shoes, shoes, my flatmate called me jokingly once (!) by her name.
Lately (like 10+ years)... flat shoes. Worn out, same model. Getting old, LOL!
Well, reckon the shoes were by say €40 and they could not sell them so ALDI puts up a table and gets the prices down A.LOT!
Let's hope you still have a few more warm days Iris, fingers crossed 😉 oh my those heels are high, it's been quite a while since I wore them that high, I did not realise Aldi sold shoes ☺️
