Take the day(s) off ... they said. It´s summer, they said. And then this happened.
So much rain (we need it!!! Bro went on about how the water has to get down 1,80m before it reaches the ground-water, whilst I have learned the soil is too dry this "summer" to take any water at all.
Yes, we can argue about stuff like that! I hope by now the soil can take the water- and save it.

I would be more than willing to sit outside in heavy summer rain if it was warm.
After all I can take off my glasses and all would be fine (I did this on the way home from the bakery once - shoot, that was dangerous as I really do not see that well without, and with my right ear saying good bye that´s double-trouble. Count in E-scooters, - bikes, - cars you hardly hear, aaaaahhhh!!!).
What a waste today.

Crazy year so far...
It's pouring again today. But I'm going over to Teague's house to play. It's her birthday so rain or shine it will be a good time. I hope you get some Summer.

Good morning we finally got rain and bad storms too in my area-we are safe from downed trees thank goodness so much rain and the grass keeps getting taller and thicker need a couple dry days so I can cut it down

I love summer rain too and I take my glasses off if I have to walk in the rain because I can still see well enough, just not for reading or computer or TV because I get a headache after too long without the glasses because I have crossed vision.
It's been a relatively dry Winter here, normally apparently we get more rain here but we are only into our 2nd year of living in the south island so I'm not sure yet of the conditions. We are building a deck outside so that we can enjoy Summer when it comes here.
