To Seagulls (Come February)

With this lille fella I join Eileen´s Saturday Critters.

Oh, I can´t wait to see Seagulls again.
The ocean.
Wade in and swim!
The heat, finally!!!

Can´t wait to see Magpies - hopefully.
The chatty Ravens, so different from the German ones.
See a great FB-movie here (not too long).

To Perth (and Adelaide) soon! To meeting old and new bloggy-friends!

Henry 🦁

Thank you, Henry, yes, the Black Swans ... and maybe Dolphins we´ll see there, too!
And maybe we pay a visit to Perth Zoo again!

Hello,

Love the Gull, the ocean is my happy place.
Looks like Henry enjoys his swim.
I know you must be really excited about your trip.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank so much for leaving me a comment.

Yes, I love the ocean, too - especially when warm enough for a swim! Thank you for hosting!

...here, all that we need to do is go to the Walmart parking lot is we want to see gulls.

Wow, have you ever posted a lot of great images and thoughts since I last visited here! Now I am caught up with you. Funny that you have a "Cony Eisland" -- in our area (southeast Michigan) there are many diners called Cony Islands, and they are all places with diner meals (which means a certain type of menu with sandwiches, soups, and breakfast eggs and the like) and almost all owned by Greek families. It's a tradition going back maybe as much as 60 or 100 years.

best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com

I never attached Cony Islands to Greece! Something new learned!
I sure would prefer sandwiches and such, in fact I´m reading a book on sandwiches and one on pizza parallel (and on owls - alas, I need more time!) - all inspired by you? I admit, I loose track on who shows which books!!!

I haven't seen the ocean in a few years but certainly see and hear seagulls who tend to hang out with the pigeons looking for food.
Hopt the wedding was fun.

Iris Flavia said...

RedPat - two years ago I saw seagulls here at River Oker!
The wedding was.. as expected.
Way fewer people that I thought, so a bit nice.

The seagulls are everywhere here and if you don't see them, you'll definitely hear them.

Lucky you, Bill! :-)

Oh I hope you DO get to see dolphins! I love them. We have some here in the Port river but there are problems with unknown causes and several have recently died. Some say it is pollution in the water, others are blaming boats and fishing lines.
I watched about half of the video.
Six months to February.

CJ, you can also go to March 2015 for a peek into that holiday :-)
That was the year we saw The Little Giant Girl and her Uncle!

River, yes, it´s sad about the dolphins, or whales for that matter.
Six months!
