This solar-worked Koala sits on our windowsill and surfs with the sun.
Reckon I won´t see this for real when we go back to Perth, though - I bought him here in Braunschweig, btw.
I have a "Nellie" here, and we touched a real Koala back in 2013 in Caversham Wildlife Park cause friends "forced" us to - the fur is amazing and we were super-careful on the very sadly stressed fella, too, see here, if you like.
With him I join Eileen´s Saturday Critters.
It´s a boy, otherwise it would be a bikini, right?
It suddenly warmed up, so we had a BBQ on the balcony and talked forever about anything and nothing yesterday night - a real summer day and evening after all the cold, rainy weeks!!!
Surfin´ in our hearts, kinda.
To a happy Saturday, hope your weather is to your liking (I know... whilst we froze our butts off in grey, rainy, cold days, some in Spain, Greece etc, and America "suffered" a heat wave I am so longing for - and getting a wee bit, warmth, not heat, but better than the cold!).

I clicked the link to see Ingo touching the koala, the tree on your bracelet represents the Tree of Life, I have one hanging on my wall with crystal prisms to make rainbows but it isn't hanging in the sun, so no rainbows.
I like your surfing koala drawing very much, I used to always watch any surfing movies on TV because I just love those waves.
Yes, just look to Hawaii lately and ohhh.. even parts of Germany. Others drowned (South / Frankfurt especially) - weird, sick, sad weather.

I tried surfing on (it´s "on" not "in" cause it belongs to Spain, right?) Mallorca at age 14. I failed badly and burned my back on top.
I was so disappointed I failed - it looked like so much fun!!

I do like the warmer weather but not the heat waves and the wildfires are down right scary. I enjoy your real koala post too, I have only seen them in zoos.

Sounds like you had a fantastic evening and the weather was enjoyable.
It is to be 29˚C here tomorrow so I plan on spending the day out on the deck. It will soon be winter so we must take advantage of the warmth. ;-)
