This (Scare-)crow sure was not afraid of me.
It stoically made it´s way...
Too funny.
Crows are really clever, I love those birds.
A city-bird who also was not really afraid of my presence!
This made me a little sad.
I was sitting on a bench at "the castle" or palace, having half a burger.
Funny: When you ride the tram most stations are announced in German and English.
But this one. The machine just screams "SCHLOSS".
Formerly Brunswick Palace.
Building started 1718, it burned down in 1830, second version 1841 - after raids in WWII it was torn down in 1960 and our city had a wonderful park instead.
At daytime. At night it was more of a drug-place.
2004 a mini majority decided to tear down the whole park and replace it with a fake palace.
Obviously the Braunschweig tram-owner loved the park as much as we did...

Anyhows, this is not the only thing that made me sad.
People do litter a lot there and this raven picked up after them.
This made me really sad.
He/she didn´t do anything with the ciggy-rests, the plastic etc, it just got them off the place.
Sure not building a nest with this.
A bird cleans up after humans.
One wants to cry.

Dumb humans clean up after stupid humans once a year, too, they call it "Braunschweiger Stadtputz".
We never join. It just suggests, yipps, leave your rubbish where you are and walk on.
Makes me sad and... afraid of how people "tick".
I admit, there are not enough publish rubbish bins (or toilets for that matter), but if I manage to take my rubbish to the next container, why can´t everybody, too???

Litter makes me so angry! There is really no reason for it. Poor bird, picking it up.

Ravens are very intelligent, and collect various bits and pieces of what we call trash or even treasure — but I wonder if they really care about cleaning up after human litterbugs.

There was absolutely NO use for what the bird picked up. Maybe it saw little kids doing this and wanted to prevent this. They are very clever.
I have seen a crow fly by with a piece of paper in it's beak, I do think it will be used on their nest. I do get angry seeing all the litter around.
