Tuesday: Colleagues overload!! LOL. Cooking-tips from admin mT - he invited me to cook in his kitchen, now does that make me a pupil, I guess so!!! fK was there, too, we had Insight-inside with the bosses. What a day. All from home via teams.
Training and Sleepy Hollow.
Saw Benjamin Franklin naked. And did he really create his own alphabet?
Ingo "repaired" my TV - yippeeeee. Well, we have to share... but The Simpsons are guaranteed!
Wednesday: This week RUNS. It´s a grey-ish weather-work(-out)-blur.
See, that is why I keep this journal, other I would think... what or where went Wednesday - but every day is a pressie and I don´t want to forget any one. Just....
Where the heck is summer???
At least yummy food again, Pizza for lunch and dinner was cheese toasties with the GourmetMaxx.
Glad I didn´t give that away after all!
Thursday: Shortly after 05 a.m. there is a blue sky and seems some yellow ball came out - summer?
And I got my Max-dose :-)
Must be his grumpy day, usually he looks like an angel.
I am invited to cuddle - but... what if he just does not like me???
He is older than the kid he is stomping upon....
Asked mC a work-related question via teams-chat - BOOM. On the phone. Private stuff mostly.
But then!!!
When in the office and you make a cuppa tea... you talk, too, right? No bad feelings, hence.
Socializing it´s called and mC promised to join the next party (now I HAVE to go, too).
Friday: mC called and gave me abbreviations I´d asked for :-)
Asked fL how she´s doing and... she´d just thought of me, we chatted, as did fK.
mC now has my WhatsApp and sent me pics (he is Ingo´s age), we have fun here - I did work, too!!!
Ingo brought Namaste for lunch - yum.
WONDERFUL thunder, rain and even lightning.
Scary news: Germany is not able to send "Schwerstkriminelle" - serious criminals - back to their countries cause it´s too dangerous there. What???
Weekend: Saturday: Gave Ingo the shopping list. He added wonderful flowers - just like that, no "reason" 🥰
Made up my mind for tofu and broccoli for next week and had to go myself.
Two fully "veiled" women in black with niqab with very modern, expensive kids-trolleys and one with "but a scarf" and wide clothes.
Sometimes I wonder... do I life in Afghanistan or Germany?
If you live in another country live by their rules, I would wish. ARE that women? You cannot even tell. Scary. Sad.
Had Namaste with egg.. I am the house-pig, I eat all the rests ;-)
And just for the record... Indian, Spanish... all who live here but (most) Muslims adapt. Clothes- and languages-wise. Same in your country?
I was in Egypt - I lived by their rules.
Sunday: Fairy tale: Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten by Brother´s Grimm - it´s about friendship, freedom, despite being old - better old than dead - who is my FIL in this tale, he tells me this every time, old or dead.
One of my fav fairy tales and you get the best Labskaus in Bremen, too.
Ingo and I went with my Dad there... Everybody - we were in a group of "star lovers" - said YUCK and then they all wanted a taste of my Labskaus, I left "hungry" and happy.

I had thunder, lightning and rain here last night! And today is so cold I am shivering with three layers of clthes so I turned on the heating at 1.30pm instead of waiting until 3.30-4pm. I hope you get some HOT summer weather soon.
I think Germany should be sending the criminals back where they came from. Our government accepted some but when they continued to commit crime they were sent back and now I think any that try to come in and have a criminal past are not allowed in. At least I hope I understood that correctly when I heard the news a few weeks ago.

Yes, I don´t understand how heavy-crimers are kept safe here and keep on threatening us. That´s how I lost my hearing on my right ear - Ingo wanted to make sure I can defend myself...
It´s a weird world. Also that we cannot migrate to your country now we hit the 50-year-old mark.
I have now work- and life-experience and might be a useful member...
I hope your weather gets more summery, and that the locations under the heat dome get LESS summery weather. It’s scary how global heating is already changing the entire world.

Sounds like a busy week Iris. ND I'm glad you shared what namaste was. That word makes me think of yoga, but maybe because it's so early and my brain isn't quite in gear yet. :) I hope this week has started off in a good way and maybe it's warming up. hugs-Erika

We're expecting powerful thunderstorms Wednesday night. Some rolled through on Sunday and the electricity went out for a few minutes. 😱 Turns out, someone hit a phone pole on the highway. Our hot and humid weather is leaving. Hopefully, it will make its way to you. So sweet the Ingo brings you flowers. Happy T Day
It sounds like you have a great group of people to work with, Iris.
It looks like a very full and very busy week. I don't have problems/issues with people dressing in their natural dress no matter where they live now. It harms no one and perhaps it is more comfortable for them, given that they may (or may not) have different customs and beliefs. If it was a matter of a "rule" (like your head must be covered in this building or no-shirt-no-shoes-no-serving) that's a little different, but for the most part I love that it reminds us that our world is a wonderful and diverse place with many customs!
Ingo sounds very handy to have around, B is the same. I know what you mean by being an all rounder, but at least we have jobs, right?
