Kinda Addendum after wanting to participate and hence reading Nicole´s post:
Whoopsie. By accident (really!) I kinda may have nearly joined the self-portrait-challenge. Nearly.
When I was 17 I asked a friend to color my hair black. You know, with the cheap stuff you get at the drug store. I looked like an aubergine. So she went back to the store and got something to get the color out.
I looked like a carrot! But I liked it. For years Ingo colored my hair with red Henna, a darker tone, though.
At one point I had no time for this and wondered after weeks and weeks, went to the hair dresser and she said, "nah, your real hair color is a dark red, it changed with age."
Wow. Dad was right after all - "Flavia", my second name, refers to the color red, which runs in both families.
Had I put my dark glasses in front of the lille sketch... I might´ve joined!
This really was a coincident as my thought to participate was "no".... hm... funny.
Now let me give you a smile, who cannot seeing these sweet faces:

Along Route 66 in Texas, there's an event venue known as Catfish Plantation. Not only does it host weddings and conferences, but it's also home to a host of ghosts.

In the early 20th century, Anderson was about to marry the man of her dreams until a jealous ex-boyfriend came along and murdered her. Dein Sketch mit den lila Haaren ist wundervoll. Ich denke, das wäre perfekt für Nicole's self portrair challenge. Früher hatte ich auch Rottöne in meinem Haar (die ich glücklicherweise an meine Tochter weiter verebt habe), heute bin ich allerdings komplett weiß, das manchmal wie blond aussieht. Mir gefällt es. Henry ist diese Woche auch einfach klasse, aber ich frage mich, on das KI ist? Wie auch immer, einfach ein tolles Bild. Ich wünschte, die Amrikaner hätten tatsächlich zu Kilogramm und Metern etc. gewechselt, aber wir schlagen uns immer noch mit pound (das nicht 500 g ist), inches, fahrenheit rum. Das metrische System ist so sehr viel einfacher und vor allem logischer.
