Can´t Last Forever
This darn virus.
I hope we see some "green" at the end of the tunnel soon!
I hope it won´t last till....
Christmas!
To cheer you up a bit:
People try. They do.
It was even getting warm enough for open windows.
As I type 3C, though, frickin` cold again.
Asked our 80+ neighbour via a funny card (as he wasn´t home) if he needs something. No answer. I worried.
He knocked later.
Said thanks. Told us he cannot visit his wife in the nursing home no more and cannot stand it, he misses her so much. Only thing I could say, whenever he wants to he can come in for a cuppa.
As you can gusess we hugged big later, Ingo and I and as I type I´m in tears.
(We´re both coughing, but reckon it´s just common flu, but I did not dare to walk up to our neighbour ...)
1999, from when the coin is from, was OUR year, btw.
7 months travelling the West, North and Outback of Australia.
Lion of the day:
I think I need a Jägermeister in all this weirdness...
What do you think, how long will the crazy go on?

I guess we are all hoping it won't last long. At least you are heading into spring to make things more cheerful.
There won't be too many open windows around here, we are in autumn and the days are sunny but the wind is chilly and the nights are getting cold now. We still have plenty of green.
I'm hoping the virus won't last long, our International and State borders are closed and people are being asked not to travel on public transport unless absolutely necessary.
GlG, Valerie
I can't imagine this will go on forever, but I fear it will go on longer than we want it to. Take care of yourself, especially if you are coughing. Even the common flu can be dangerous if you don't take care of yourself, and I should miss you posts dear Iris. Hugs-Erik
Hopefully not too long if we all do the right thing Iris. Hope you guys are alright, take extra good care of yourselves. Does Ingo have to work from home yet?
...Iris, you are seeing more spring than I am, enjoy your day and stay safe.
Joan Elizabeth yes and no. Sadly kids get LOUD outside now....

River, yes. Usually we´d booked Perth but do not dare!

Valerie, oh jeh, Wäsche. Habe ich fertig, im Nebenraum gewaschen... Viel "Spaß" im Keller :-( Ist ja auch Sport... GlG, Iris
____
Erika, I think I can take it, do not worry :-) Let´s all stay safe, hugs from far away!
____
Grace, "if"... hahaha...
Ingo cannot work from home, the machines would fill our living room!
____
Tom, glad you made it home!
Nice photos...Spring is making a lot of us feel a little less claustrophobic, but it's going to be a long summer!
Be Well! ... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
To great times. No matter what.
So sad for your elder neighbor. Cannot image not seeing your spouse.
Stay safe, Iris and have a nice evening.
I understand your neighbor's sadness. My cousin is in the hospital with serious surgery and complications they hopefully can figure out but his wife can't visit. We are all on the edge of frantic.
Hold each other close. (And stay well, my friend.)I love the flowers.
Sorry to hear about your neighbour. :-(
Greetings from London.
Social distancing can be a pain but has to be adhered to if we wish to see the end of the tunnel.
Stay safe and healthy.
Yes, Bill, it´s sad. I cannot imagine, either....
____
Jeanie, all the best for your cousin! It is sad indeed, for both sides, stay well, too, dear friend!
____
Cuban, yes he looks so sad...
____
magiceye, yes, but it is difficult and hurtful...
Sorry that he cannot see his wife.
That breaks my heart.
