As I type 3C, though, frickin` cold again.
Asked our 80+ neighbour via a funny card (as he wasn´t home) if he needs something. No answer. I worried.
He knocked later.
Said thanks. Told us he cannot visit his wife in the nursing home no more and cannot stand it, he misses her so much. Only thing I could say, whenever he wants to he can come in for a cuppa.
As you can gusess we hugged big later, Ingo and I and as I type I´m in tears.
(We´re both coughing, but reckon it´s just common flu, but I did not dare to walk up to our neighbour ...)
1999, from when the coin is from, was OUR year, btw.

I guess we are all hoping it won't last long. At least you are heading into spring to make things more cheerful.
There won't be too many open windows around here, we are in autumn and the days are sunny but the wind is chilly and the nights are getting cold now. We still have plenty of green.
I'm hoping the virus won't last long, our International and State borders are closed and people are being asked not to travel on public transport unless absolutely necessary.

I can't imagine this will go on forever, but I fear it will go on longer than we want it to. Take care of yourself, especially if you are coughing. Even the common flu can be dangerous if you don't take care of yourself, and I should miss you posts dear Iris. Hugs-Erik

I understand your neighbor's sadness. My cousin is in the hospital with serious surgery and complications they hopefully can figure out but his wife can't visit. We are all on the edge of frantic.
