It wasn´t the "SHOTZ", Ingo bought a lensball, as he saw it at Grace´s and BOOOOY.
Even in Spring in Germany I have to be QUICK, Ingo can´t hold it for long!
It´s getting HOT in no time, Henry!
And Corinna? Did she win? We went to Guido´s for a beer and Pizza.
We were not able to order the Pizza and never saw the beer.
An ordinary beer, no "SHOTZ"! wasn´t at our table after 20 minutes. It was a hot day, and we were like really thirsty.
And you know what?!
We left.
And I felt guilty.
We took the paper where Ingo put our names, address, phone-number and time of entry - yes, we have to do this! As we went without phones and had no App for that - and luckily! - no proove we were even there... we took the piece of paper simply with us.
Sad. The waitress knows us, we´re at the "du"-level, which means "I know you, we like each other".
Corinna sat in the corner, maybe, the place was full to the brim.
Which is good.
Very good.
But let people who are regular guests wait that long for an ordinary, plain, little beer?
Can we go there again? I feel bad. Guilty. Should I?

I've walked out of several places over the years, and never feel bad about it. I mean, what is the point in sitting in a place and not receiving what you want? No need to feel guilty :) xx
That wasn't very good service, even if you were not regulars! Right now all these businesses need customers and they need to treat them well.

At first I thought the blue steam coming out of the cup was hair. OK, guess I didn't sleep great last night. Too hot, dog hogging the bed. Now I see it is a cup. Happy Monday Iris.

I hate when we order and don't get service. We would also walk out. Worst is when they make you pay up front.

Good advice. Never pay before you get - I still feel bad...
I would probably have left the pub too! It is too hot to wait so long for just a beer.
That's too bad about having to wait so long and not get your food or beer. I'd walk out, too. Some restaurants here have been having that problem, too. Too many people trying to get back to normal and not enough staff at the restaurants to handle things. Maybe they were just having an off day. I'd go back for one more try.

You can't be expected to wait forever. Who knows how much longer it would've been or even maybe your order had been lost in the confusion. They could limit service to numbers they could actually serve. No, you shouldn't feel guilty at all. I'd give them another chance since you're regulars, but I'd wait a while.

I remember partaking in those in my younger days, very tasty, too old for them now.
Oh you can definitely go again Iris, by the time you go back they will have forgotten all about it, if they were that busy they might not even have noticed 😉 I think you will have so much fun with the lensball, can you imagine how hot it gets here in summer, a couple of times we almost started a fire 😀
You definitely shouldn't feel guilty about leaving. I know I would have. Nice mural, too.
