After I showed you the green lighthouse of Freo here is the red one in our kitchen.
Freo has two and when you slap someone with your right hand in the face, what happens?
Well maybe you get a slap, too, but what I mean (don´t slap people) - the person´s left cheek will turn red, hence you always know left is larboard - startboard is green, the right position light.
OK, dumb pic, it shows the ship from the front. When you´re ON the boat you can slap and have the orientation, of course.

Bees have been visiting, look!
June 1974 my Mum took me to the woods. She did not leave me there but dug out some strawberry-plants. In our garden you always found these yummy, tiny wood-strawberries.
I took some to Braunschweig - and luckily I did! My Brother let a friend redo the garden of our family´s home. He destroyed all the strawberry-plants 😥
So these are very, very special and no, I cannot go back into that wood. I was but two years old and have no idea where that was.

Those strawberries will be extra delicious!
I am drawn to cool deep jewel tones (no surprise there--LOL) My favourite colour is deep purple. Reds, yellows, and oranges give me a sort of agitated feeling, except in autumn. I like seeing rusty orange then and a deep burgundy red is cool sometimes, like at Christmastime.

:-) Already 14C - oh, colors, yes, they can help so much! Or... not! I think you would not want to visit us then, LOL. We have summer-painted walls all over.

LOVE seeing your strawberries! And red poppies are one of my favorite flowers, too!
I love the poppies. I used to grow strawberries but the squirrels would eat them before I could so I gave up on them.

Strawberries, perfect Summer fruit, we usually get the shops selling them from November through December, they're one of those foods everyone buys for xmas day.
Strawberries are great in smoothies. I love the colour red and now I add green to my list.
Here we have Starboard and Portside.
My sister's favourite colour is red, I like the golds, teals, aquas and black. Green too, but not lime green.
