In short I decided for the second theme-words "light, tough, coffee, nightmare, curved, Christmas" and stole one from the other, too...
Certainly again from my real life, I´m no good in making up great stories...
So, it was Christmas...

I drove home for Christmas.
From Braunschweig to Rhüden, to Ingo (we had a weekend-relationship back then, some whopping, STUPID 13 years) , then Seesen, to my parents, meeting my "little" Brother, also 😍.
I love-hated it. Real Christmas-tree, real candles, real fire.
I was always on alert 100%. Merry Christmas.
When I was 4 a fire really took off a little.

Was meant to go to Perth. For Christmas!

I embossed everything, took me a while and for what.

Well, I thought, OK. The Aussies have "Christmas in July", maybe I can send it then?

OK, to give it away.... it is.. was... Christmas gummy-bears.
I washed and desinfected my hands and put some of each sort in little bags.
Just opened the parcel.
The gummy bears are now stone bears and I will not "present" my friends with this, sorry, girls...
Sadly this is a true story of course.
What to do? Tough decision. I´ll "lick" them myself, one a day. Boy it will be Christmas again when I´m done! Maybe 2023...
Fun side story: 1999 we had Haribo-gummy bears. We opened the bag and took off to Australia.
They are best when hard, so that was a thing to look forward to, coming back to Germany.
Not. Ingo´s Grandma thought we did this by mistake, ate them up and replaced them with a closed bunch. Shoot! 🤣
Some I prepared for Perth are not Christmassy-like, put some coffee-gummy-bears in there as well, as I know my one (it would go to two) friend loooves coffee.
I have no clue. What will Corinna do to us?
When will I be able to visit our Perth friends - or family 60 km away???? - again.
Who´d ever thought of such craziness???
I go to my training now, curve my body, as bring it in shape.
So many complain they grow FAT in these times.

Drove 32 minutes to and around like forever (depending on finding a place to park the car) back when I worked in Kästorf/Wolfsburg.
Now those who do IT-jobs work from home. That´s TWO HOURS you can use for an additional workout!!! How can you ever get FAT???

To hop to the other theme, in German "banana" is like nuts. As in England.

When I first saw the snow I went no. I can't be that cold in your area. But then I read the post. Hopefully you can mail it soon. I am sure it is better late than never, and Christmas in July, well that works definitely. Christmas can never be bad any time of year, right? Happy Friday Iris.

Those are stringent rules on postage. We can send anything. Of course, who knows when it gets there...

I have friends who go "bananas" (nuts) now and again, acting up, playing stupid, making everyone laugh. They're good people to be with.
I like the way you used the words.
I think just make up another parcel and send it, doesn't matter if it takes longer. When it arrives you will know how long. I know now that when I order books from the UK, it takes much longer than it used to. And in January I ordered something for my son's birthday in March, but it didn't arrive until last week in April. He didn't mind waiting.
I´ll have to wait till next X-Mas-season for the gummy-bears.

Waited three whopping months for a dress that was too large and they told me to keep it as sending back would be too expensive.
