Today I start with my lunch-break, hmmmmm, sooo quick´n yummy!
Just roll the prosciutto around the basil-filled feta and throw it in the pan.
And at the workplace, as this is for Elizabeth´s T-Day:
Hot tea and cold coconut-water, hmmm.
And yes, still Santa. It´s the biggest cup I have! 🎅 And I love the color of the "cool-cup".
Other just the journal again, I just found no time for anything else....
Monday: Now-teamleader Frankfurt N told me about the bee hive he did take care of over the weekend - second season.
So great to learn private people help bees along like that, too - I will have strawberries thanks to bees!
Loads of work for project Frankfurt.
Tuesday: PANIC. Spontanous Teams-call from France, I grab the headset - EEK... where is the mike?!
Accidentially put the BOSE at my workplace, ohhh, duuude...
Teamleader Denmark told me about his upcoming holiday at the North Sea and we chatted about the ocean and Labskaus...
I am so lucky with these people! Despite all the stress they find time for a short chat here and there. Motivation, right?
Ingo came home with snail mail from Australia for me, see here, if you like!
Summer - unpacked new thongs, Ingo put up the huge sun-brolly and I read my book.
Wednesday: Bringing out nuts for Peanut I found a kid´s fresh undie on our balcony. Matches my shirt. Put it in the public hall...
Started work at 06:00, at 07:00 am went grocery shopping, had 9 items, a guy with one I let through - he even thanked me twice! (Karma points and caring, huh).
Asked for work, got work!
Boy. Was to translate something very technical to German. Deepl was out! N, too, so I asked M, him: if I know someone fit in electrical engineering.
Yups, Ingo, who´s at work. Managed, though, I hope.
Another "quicky" with word - M was there to help, weee. He said, it does not matter if Frankfurt or Denmark, we help each other! Got the job done, also with all the railway parts, yikes, these things are complicated!
Summer´s day, book, brolly and a well deserved beer!
Thursday: Time runs 😥 - summer-days go by sooo fast.
Interview with ESE (the company that hired me) went good.
I got LOADS of work done and after talking about some of it with now-teamleader N switched to chatting, life is in a good balance.
Sport with DE? NAHHHH.
30C - 86F - balcony weather!!! Started a Braunschweig-thriller.

Friday: Loads of work, whooops, Friday already? In beautiful "Summer"/hot Spring time runs!
Walked to the SC for soap, kitchen-paper... Counts as mini-sport (I walk fast).
Slow-reader me finished one Braunschweig-thriller in two days and started the next!
Paper-books, too!
Ingo had a surprise for dinner: to the shared breadroll I found physalis on (sadly too strong for me) cheese and a tiny glass of red wine (actually for schnapps).
Saturday I went to the city to get earth to plant some seeds and found the Jürgens Brewery on the Place of German Unity...
... together with a huge monster!
Went home, grabbed Ingo and back we went!
Without a brolly and of course.... heavy rain! So much so we all were invited into the lille tent from the brewery for shelter!
I ordered a t-shirt and we were crammed inside with the monster men and learned a lot!
It felt so good - no one wore a mask , just like pre-Corinna, FREEDOM!
I think we learned how to live with "her".
All nice, fun guys. I didn´t dare to take a pic, though, so you have to simply believe me!
Sunday was a day to relax, finally.
What we had for dinner, see at Kathy´s tomorrow.

I also love your journal pages. It was the first long weekend of summer but the weather was miserable *sigh*. I did buy some plants for the balcony, need more and some soil.
I can't keep up with you Iris. That meal actually looks good. Feta is SO expensive here. You are SO lucky to have it available. Here it's only in specialty shops.

What a fun post, Iris! My neighbor makes proscuitto and yesterday brought some over to me. I have feta AND fresh basil so guess what I'm going to do right now! It sounds like a pretty good week. Yay!
