I really dislike the dark half of the year. At least till December we have happy lights.

I like gerberas too, so many colours and they last long.
At first I thought that was Busselton jetty, but the building were a bit bigger than in Busselton... Nice one.

This "jetty" even has a restaurant and we had a meal there...

I love gerber daisies too, and I grew some this summer. But they are all fading a bit now as Autumn is arriving. And just think, one more spell of dark days and you'll be off to late summer in Australia. It's so exciting. Happy October. hugs-Erika

I hate cold and dark...
I leave my Christmas lights up all year along the hallway and light them every night - they cheer me up.
I love Gerbera too.
Sorry for mom. My mom passed away 22 years ago but I am sad again.
Welcome October and welcome fall, I'm tired of all that heat!
My cats hide too, now they come to sleep at home and no more in the backyard as they used to do in summer.
Precious memories are for treasuring - for bringing out into the open sometimes and remembering all the good times you have had together (even if they make you sad).

How many calendars do you have? I have seen the building on the water in a dream I had years ago, though I have never been there for real. The beach one looks like Australia.
I like Christmas lights and seeing all the stores decorated, but not many homes get decorated in the suburbs. Maybe on the inside where we can't see, but no yard decorations as they do in the US.

You saw... wow. A bit scary! The building is in former East-Germany. Island Rügen was DDR! Or GDR, as you call it. Have you been there as a child maybe?
People here often don´t have blinds and you can see inside in the dark half of the year. I´ll take pics.

No, never been there, we left Germany when I was six months old.
