OK, this clearly is a dog. He and his gentleman were patiently waiting to the see the historic train. A very calm dog that was and with him I join Eileen´s Saturday Critters.

Another rather exhausting work-week gone by.
I´ll still need to go through my notes from the seminar but luckily K is back to health, we´ll meet up on Monday in the city for a cuppa and she finally can handle me the book to it.
That and YouTube sure are a big help!
The lecturer - it was a no-presence-seminar - talked superfast and ran through the difficult parts but got lost in memories when showing us pics.
Luckily he´s a professor here in Braunschweig and most pics were of locations here :-)
And when he said, "you can simply go to train station Gliesmarode" I thought, yes, I can.
A 30-minutes walk and I´m there!
Or... "this is track 18. To the side were Siemens and ALSTOM are". Yupp, been there (Siemens, "my" ALSTOM sadly is in Salzgitter).
Also most devices were from Siemens.
Bummer was when he told about the Bombardier-catastrophe in Berlin. The vehicles were rather in the garage for repair than on the tracks.
I heard the little Bombardier-tram Ingo presented me cry a little...
Well to a happy, relaxing weekend. Ingo plans on Sauerkraut - it´s the weather for that for sure!
And maybe next weekend kale, or Brussels Sprouts!!! The only good thing about the dark, cold half of the year!

My cold weather favourites are beef casserole or roast beef with gravy and roasted vegetables. Mashed potatoes with sausages and onion gravy.
I had something else to say but can't remember it. I like the sheep drawings.

River, we had mashed potatoes yesterday. From Maggi or such as Ingo could not find the right potatoes for real, buhuuuu! Beef casserole? I assume that is like goulash? That´s one of my favs, too, with mushrooms and noodles! Roast beef is quite work-intense, at least the way Ingo made it. But yummy!!
At least we have a variety of food to cheer us up in the icky times!

I love cold weather food. Soups, stews, bread, squash, pumpkin...yum. What I don't like is all the snow we get in the winter. Luckily not yet. Snow is pretty but it is sooooo much work! That dog is very patient. What a good pup. And I am loving your little sheep. Very cute. Have a great weekend Iris. hugs-Erika
