And to the herbs/spices-thingy (I got it now, River, but this is where my thought came from):
We made jokes about that, Ingo and I. In my family we very often had parsley for dinner. Dinner was bread, cheese, parsley, stuff like that. Lunch was always warm food, cooked.
These days... in the week I stuck to my family´s tradition, on the weekends cooked food is dinner - how about you?

It is hot here so no cooked food this week - salads for days.
In our house dinner was always cooked, whatever time of day it was, lunchtime or evening. The cold meal was lunch if eaten in the day or tea if eaten in the evening. In winter I often had two cooked meals. Graham would ask: What's for tea?
Now that I live alone, I have one cooked meal a day at 2 or 3 pm and something light (like cheese and biscuits with a glass of wine, or an egg/omelet or something) in the evening.

Some nice smiles here. My weekday dinners are usually simple, MOST of the time, just me (it's cycling season for Rick). Weekend, we cook and cook well. In the summer, more grilling. In winter, inside. All good!

Sorry to be late visiting. I LOVE parsley. I eat one meal a day, so if it's hot outside, it's a cold meal, like salad. If it's cold out, I eat a hot meal. Starting in May, I have tried to eat a more balanced meal each day. LOVE the smiles, especially the push/pull.
