Portuguese cats also say "miau". I agree, I don't see the reason for using an English word in that sentence. In the technological field it's quite normal for English words to be used.
I do tend to drop a few French words into my English Iris, just happens without me even really thinking about it 😊 How fast is time flying by, are you two getting excited about the trip?
